Space Jam 2 : Lola Bunny Hanging Out With the Amazons from ‘Wonder Woman’

Space Jam: A New Legacy Will Feature Lola Bunny Hanging Out With the Amazons from ' Wonder Woman '

One day after a horde of Twitter users completely lose their heads talking about the perceived appeal of a cartoon rabbit from a children's movie, Space Jam: A New Legacy director revealed new information about Lola Bunny, a female member of the Tune Squad basketball team at original Space Jam and her next sequel. It seems that filmmaker Malcolm D. Lee and his team put a lot of energy into the desexualization of the character, but he also revealed that when the audience is reintroduced to Lola, she will hang out with the Amazons of the films WB and DC Wonder Woman. Yes, really. Entertainment Weekly, which yesterday released a cover detailing the official plot of the film, has retained some details about his conversation with Lee about Lola Bunny, including the fact that when the audience first sees her in this sequel, he will do some research with Wonder The Woman's Amazon, probably at Themiscyra.

“We wanted to meet her with the Amazons, trying to find her greener pastures,” Lee said. “As he says in the movie, there's not just a melody.”
If you're wondering what's going on, you may have missed the fact that Space Jam: A New Legacy is going to be a Ready Player style Mishmash that incorporates tons of tons of different cinematographic properties of Warner Bros. in a field called Warner 3000 “Server-verse”. The (upset) plot implies that LeBron James and his son are absorbed into this world by an artificial intelligence who wants to steal some of LeBron's social media followers. The plot of the first Space Jam was certainly stupid, but frankly, it seems unobservable and essentially like a super expensive ad for HBO Max, where all these properties can be broadcast with a click of a button. Meanwhile, you apologize to all the 30-year-old children who are excited about Lola Bunny and tell this character as a formative part of her sexual awakening, but Lola is not going to receive the same treatment in the sequel she was in the original movie. Lee asked after watching the first film for the first time a few years ago, “It's 2021. It is important to reflect the authenticity of strong and capable female characters. It probably has the most humane characteristics of Tunes; it has nothing like a carrot, ingp, or stuttering. So we redesigned a lot of things, not only her appearance, such as making sure she had an appropriate length in her shorts and that she was feminine without being objective, but gave her a real voice. For us, it was, let's launch her athletic prowess, her leadership skills, and make her a character as complete as the others.”
